The STREEAMD Mind approach encourages learners to integrate diverse fields such as Science, Technology, Research, Reading, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Art, Math, and Design. By connecting these disciplines, students gain a more comprehensive understanding of the world, enabling them to think critically and solve problems more effectively. Integrating knowledge from two or more subjects can create new understandings and build deeper knowledge. This interdisciplinary approach helps us to understand and solve complex problems. Students show interdisciplinary understanding when they combine ideas, methods, or communication styles from two or more subject areas or fields of expertise to explain a concept, solve a problem, develop a product, or ask meaningful new questions, achievements that would be difficult or unlikely within just one discipline.
